Welcome to Sophia Snow House
Sophia Snow House is a supportive living community for seniors who wish to remain in the Boston area and desire freedom from the chores of household management such as shopping, housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
At Sophia Snow House, supportive living residents enjoy a private apartment, three meals in the dining room per day plus a mid-morning cart service to studios every morning, a full array of diverse activities, and the comfort of 24 hour personalized care — similar to that of assisted living — as needed. A lovely sunroom and two patios overlook the adjacent conservation area woodlands and walking path.
Sophia Snow House Supportive Living community is frequently compared to Assisted Living, and it is similar in many ways. Two of the major distinctions are that we are licensed by the Department of Public Health and provide medication administration and coordination for our residents.
This is a wonderful alternative or a perfect fit for someone looking for just a little more than Assisted Living!
Sophia Snow House fosters community. Supportive living residents welcome family, friends and guests at any time. Located at the crossroads of Jamaica Plain, Roslindale and West Roxbury and Brookline, Sophia Snow House supportive living community is conveniently close to the amenities and attractions of downtown Boston, as well as to Boston’s finest medical institutions and rehabilitation centers. There is easy access to public transportation.
Here at Sophia Snow House, our residents have been the center of our care for over 160 years.
