While our focus remains on our physical health and safety, we know that our total well-being depends on our emotional health as well. Respecting all that we know about limiting the virus’ access to our home at Sophia Snow Place, and its capacity to be transmitted from person-to-person, we are able to do somethings to keep active and viable.

• Walking in the building and outside is encouraged, even when assistance needs to be provided by Sophia Snow staff. As the weather gets nicer, we will be encouraging residents to enjoy a stroll around the grounds at appropriate distances, or enjoy serenity of our garden.
• We are providing carefully monitored opportunities for physical exercise twice a day in the Supportive Living’s Parlor and in the Independent Living’s Great Room.
• Our physical trainer continues to work with residents individually using electronic mediums.
• Residents still converse in our Bistro at safe distances!
