The Residences at Snow Place is designed for older homeowners who wish to remain in Boston and who seek freedom from the hassles of home maintenance, lawn care and snow removal—at a price they can afford. Residents enjoy an informal lifestyle, while keeping close to family and friends.

Services
Services such as scheduled transportation, housekeeping, laundry, meals and even personal care, can be arranged through the on-site Resident Services Coordinator.

Entry Fee -- Membership Fee Schedule
The entry fee, affordable to most Boston homeowners, is 95 percent refundable. A low monthly maintenance fee covers heat, insurance, real estate taxes and all interior/exterior maintenance. Because Sophia Snow House, the sponsor of Snow Place, is committed to providing affordable housing for those who need it most, priority will be given to Boston residents whose incomes are not more than 10 percent above the Boston median.

Apartments
All apartments include one bedroom, a spacious living room, fully applianced kitchen, full bath and a convenient study that can be used as a formal dining room or occasional guest room. Each air-conditioned apartment in the four-story elevator-serviced building has its own washer/dryer. Large double-hung windows fill the rooms with light and are easily opened to let in summer breezes.

Common Areas
Pleasant common areas include a library and computer center, fitness and yoga room, common and private dining rooms, coffee bar and a sun porch. Landscaped gardens welcome residents and visitors to Snow Place.
