Judy Dovev, Marketing Coordinator, Sophia Snow House
Judy Dovev brings to the Sophia Snow Place community an understanding of both marketing and admissions in senior healthcare. As the Marketing Coordinator for the private duty side of the Natick Visiting Nurse Association, Judy developed long term relationships with healthcare professionals and with the broader community. In her capacity as Admissions Coordinator for the Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jamaica Plain, she helped families navigate the admissions process with care and sensitivity.
In her role as Marketing Coordinator of Sophia Snow House, Judy continues her outreach efforts in the community. When working with families, she draws on her own personal experience in placing her elderly parents in a senior community. This allows her to connect with families and their loved ones in a special way as she guides them from initial tour through the first day as a new resident.

Shining Star
Paula Stevens-Our, Driver & Escort
Paula explains her ever present smile and cheerful manner by saying that she is the one having all the fun! We think the fun must be contagious from the sounds of the conversations and laughter we hear coming from the Sophia Snow van or “Snow Mobile,” as she calls the new company car. She has a special gift for entertaining, but also for putting folks at ease. Paula is a wonderful driver, and also a wonderful escort for medical appointments. She knows just how to maneuver a walker or wheelchair, and how to be an advocate. Paula also knows all the best routes around the city of Boston and how to avoid our fair city’s traffic nightmares.
There’s just a little (or a lot) extra in everything she does. Sometimes that means driving by a resident’s old home on their way to or from an appointment or picking up a favorite soup for a resident returning from a hospital stay. Every trip includes a warm greeting and pleasant conversation. There was little question this quarter about who would win our Shining Star award. Residents overwhelmingly voted their great appreciation for Paula Stevens-Our!
